NEW CITY GAS
Located off the beaten track in the Griffintown neighborhood, New City Gas is housed in a complex that was originally built in 1859 for the purpose of transforming coal into gas for lighting the streets and buildings of Montreal. Today, the heritage building has been repurposed into a multi-purpose event and entertainment space that covers 40,000 square feet and two floors. New City Gas hosts a range of large events, including private functions to New Year’s Eve parties. Every week, over 3,000 people head over to New City Gas to party to the tunes of internationally renowned DJs and artists.
